The playroom

Here at Penguins we have a purpose built playhouse that our little penguins absolutely love as they have their very own playing & learning space. As you can see we have created our setup to encompass all the areas of the EYFS curriculum. The children have full access to all of the resources covering all of these areas and these resources are labelled and photographed to allow children of all ages to have freedom of choice during child led activities. There are opportunities for imaginative play in our home corner and we have a carpeted area perfect for exploring the books, musical instruments and the special sensory box!

We also have free-flow play between the playhouse and the garden, and children are able to choose where they would like to play.
